2 Gyrlz Performative Arts is an all volunteer, artist-run, non-profit* presenting group co-founded/directed by Lisa Newman and Llewyn Máire as an expansion of the ongoing Two Girls performative legacy.

The primary Mission of 2 Gyrlz is to engender accessible forms of creative expression by supporting regional and global artists, organizations, and cultural groups who work with a broad range of concepts and media. This work is made possible by a volunteer-driven effort, supported by in-kind donations from local businesses, small grants, and cooperation with international agencies.

We invite both our artists and audiences to exonerate the dangerous and border crashing elements of art while continuing to challenge and embrace the foundations; where art is created free of hierarchy and the limits of genre and media.
